About the Initiative
Math Lab: Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice

Welcome to the EduMEasy Math Lab — an innovative project led by Prof. Vivek Vijay and the students of IIT Jodhpur. The initiative aims to transform mathematics education by introducing practical and experiential learning in schools, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-life applications.

Designed for students of Standard 6 to 10, this initiative is on a mission to remove the fear of mathematics and make it a subject students genuinely enjoy through hands-on, curiosity-driven exploration.

IIT Jodhpur students played a crucial role in designing experiments and activities aligned with the school curriculum, ensuring that labs catered to the specific learning needs and syllabus requirements of each grade.

Resource constraints and resistance to change were addressed through effective communication, dedicated training programs for teachers, and continuous on-ground support — creating a thriving learning environment in each partner school.

Lab equipment is accompanied by comprehensive manuals available in both Hindi and English, making the resources accessible to students and teachers across linguistic backgrounds.
